Texas Occupations Code § 2305.0041
Limitation on Buying and Selling Catalytic Converters
Records of Certain Vehicle Repairs, Sales, and Purchases · Records Maintained by Certain Entities
A person subject to this subchapter may not buy or sell a catalytic converter removed from a motor vehicle unless the catalytic converter was removed from the motor vehicle in connection with the person's repair of the vehicle.
