Texas Occupations Code § 651.102
Crematory Services, Funeral Directing, and Embalming · Executive Director and Personnel
The commission may employ inspectors and clerical and technical assistants as the commission determines to be necessary to administer this chapter. The commission shall determine the terms and expenses of its employees.
