Texas Transportation Code § 548.258
Inspection of Vehicles · Issuance of Vehicle Inspection Reports; Submission of Information to Department Database
(a) In this section, "state electronic Internet portal" has the meaning assigned by Section 2054.003, Government Code.
(b) The department may adopt rules to require an inspection station to use the state electronic Internet portal to send to the department a record, report, or other information required by the department.
