Texas Transportation Code § 623.197
Permits for Oversize or Overweight Vehicles · Unladen Lift Equipment Motor Vehicles; Trip Permits
A fee collected under this subchapter shall be deposited as follows:
(1) 90 percent to the credit of the state highway fund; and
(2) 10 percent to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund.
